Job summary
A Welder I fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques. Reviews blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of general work experience
- Must be able to demonstrate welding ability by passing an in-house weld test
- MIG welding with the ability to weld components as specified
- Produce various items and equipment according to H&S approved processes using fabricating and welding techniques and equipment
- Prepares parts and part surfaces, assembles, tacks, and welds parts together per print
