Description
Modernize data platforms for on-premises and cloud-hosted databases, including relational and non-relational, through framework implementation.
Design strategies for cloud-native data platforms, focusing on optimization, efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Perform root cause analyses of database infrastructure issues, identify solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders for effective implementation.
Profile

A successful candidate for this job would possess extensive experience in modernizing and optimizing data platforms, both on-premises and in the cloud, with a focus on relational and non-relational databases.

They should demonstrate expertise in designing strategies for cloud-native data platforms, ensuring optimization, efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

The candidate should excel in performing root cause analyses of database infrastructure issues, providing expert insights, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement effective solutions.

Additionally, strong interpersonal skills, technical proficiency in database management systems, and hands-on experience with cloud database solutions are essential, along with a track record of effectively managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Ideally, the candidate would have 5+ years of relevant experience, including specific experience with AWS RDS and DMS, and relevant certifications would be advantageous.
