    Job Title: Construction Project Manager

    Construction Project Manager/Field Supervisor Summary:

    Responsible for the successful management of construction work projects, from proposal to completion for landscaping, decks, concrete, retaining walls, interior remodeling and other projects.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Accurately prepare bids by utilizing field collected data and standard computer software
    • Line out subcontractors and communicate project specifications
    • Read and interpret construction plans/drawings
    • Acquire permits as needed
    • Visit jobs in progress; review questions or problems that may arise
    • Add and update project information in CRM software
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Submit requests for purchase orders
    • Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with vendors and subcontractors, insuring accountability and quality for price
    • Constantly promote and encourage adherence to company policies and best practices
    • Communicate project statuses and pertinent information with clients and keep them informed

    Field Experience

    • Minimum 5 years of verifiable field experience with project estimating or design-build work
    • Prior construction experience is required
    • Strong estimation background, with working knowledge of construction

    Communication Skills

    • Ability to read, write and comprehend English and communicate effectively
    • Ability to effectively communicate with employees, clients and subcontractors
    • Bilingual (English/Portuguese) a plus

    Certificates, Licenses and Registrations

    • As required by state and federal law
    • Massachusetts CSL (construction supervisor license) is required
    • HICL is a plus
    • Valid driver license issued by the state where employed

    Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Strong customer service skills, with internal and external clients
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and perform well under deadlines
    • Organizational skills
    • Basic computer skills (emails, excel, word, internet browsing, etc.)
    • Flexible schedule- ability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed
    • Experience working with commercial property managers, vendors, consultants and architects a plus

    Salary

    $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year fixed salary pending experience and credentials, plus our bonus structure is geared to increase salary averaging between $80,000 - $100,000 annually from project completion.
