Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Location: Richfield, MN

Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team in Richfield, MN. The Special Education Teacher will provide instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide direct instruction in academic subjects and functional life skills based on students' IEP goals
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students with varying abilities and disabilities
• Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and assistive technology to support student learning
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success and progress
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and behavior
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect, acceptance, and growth for all students

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Minnesota teaching license with Special Education endorsement or eligibility for licensure
• Experience working with students with disabilities, including but not limited to autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, learning disabilities, and intellectual disabilities
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
• Strong munication and collaboration skills
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with diverse learning needs
