Caregiver

Right at Home, In-Home Care & Assistance, is looking for CNA's, Caregivers, Companions, and Adult Sitters to join their caring team providing expert assistance at home. Make a difference in your career by supporting individuals to stay comfortably in their homes.

Responsibilities of Caregiver:

Perform personal care tasks to help patients with daily activities. Tasks may include:

Personal Hygiene
Ambulation/Transfers
Dressing/Shaving
Cooking meals and snacks as directed
Accompanying patients on errands or medical appointments
Light housekeeping

Additionally, assist patients with specific activities as trained by Right at Home staff, such as:

Providing hospice support
Reminding about medications
Supporting with range of motion exercises
Assisting with blood glucose monitoring
Caring for bed-bound patients
Providing incontinence care
Using lifting equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Qualifications for Caregiver:

Experience with Hoyer lift
Personal care experience
Knowledge of Range of Motion Exercises
Familiarity with Foley care
Ability to provide Companionship
Skills in Light cleaning

Requirements:

Minimum age of 18 years
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
Ability to pass a full employment background check

Preferred Qualifications:

CNA or HHA license preferred
6 months experience as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare
1-3 years experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare settings
