    Key Responsibilities:

    The Surgical Services Nurse Manager plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. Key responsibilities include:

    • Oversight of daily unit operations and staffing to promote efficient patient flow.
    • Monitoring and evaluating the provision of nursing care to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
    • Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient care delivery.
    • Leadership and coaching of department employees to achieve quality and clinical outcomes.

    Requirements:

    To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

    • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice or compact state.
    • Associate's Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma, with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or BCLS Instructor status within 30 days of hire.
    • At least one year of related clinical leadership experience.
