Role: Housekeeping Manager – Chicago, IL
We are seeking a hands-on Housekeeping Manager to lead operations at a branded Chicago hotel. This leader will elevate cleanliness standards, drive service excellence, and collaborate across departments to deliver consistent, high-quality guest experience — while creating an environment where the team feels respected, supported, and enjoys coming to work.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee guestrooms, public areas, and laundry operations
- Ensure brand cleanliness and presentation standards are met
- Conduct inspections and improve quality scores
- Lead, train, and develop the housekeeping team
- Build a positive culture rooted in respect, accountability, and having fun
- Partner with Front Office & Engineering to ensure room readiness
- Manage schedules, labor productivity, and inventories
- Handle guest concerns and support service recovery
- Promote teamwork and service excellence across departments
What You'll Bring:
- 3+ years housekeeping leadership in a branded hotel
- Strong attention to detail and hands-on leadership style
- Proven team collaboration and coaching ability
- Experience improving guest satisfaction scores
- Bilingual
- Union Experience
