- Develop and implement business strategies that align with the company's objectives.
- Manage daily operations and make pivotal decisions that affect the company's direction.
- Oversee financial management, planning, systems, and controls, including the ability to read and understand financial statements.
- Manage the accounting department to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and functions.
- Ensure timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends.
- Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.
- Directly manage a team of 10 staff members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role with a focus on finance, bookkeeping, and accounting.
- Ability to read, interpret, and make decisions based on financial statements and other financial data.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
- Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities, including experience managing small teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- BSc/BA in Business Administration, Finance, or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
