Job summary
Cath lab technologists assist with procedures to analyze diagnose and treat the cardiovascular system. They perform active physiological monitoring of heart rate rhythm pressures and saturations anticipating changes during cases that indicate necessary information such as catheter position.- Assist with room setup patient transport and post-procedure clean-up.
- Educate patients on post-procedure monitoring and care of catheter insertion site.
