    Description
    Warehouse Worker Job Description

    Essential Duties:
    • Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
    • Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
    • Maintain safe and clean work environment by sweeping, keeping shelves, pallet area, bathrooms and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
    • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    • Operate forklift
    • Report any order discrepancies or issues to management
    Experience/ Skills
    • Forklift certification and experience a plus
    • Solid work history that demonstrates reliability; warehouse work experience is a plus
    • Able to work on your feet for 8 hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to work in Extreme Temperatures: Cold in the winter/ Hot in the Summer
    Physical Aspects of the job
    • Frequently bending, twisting and rotating trunk, arms and legs
    • Standing 100% of the time/walking 99% of the time/climbing 10% of the time
    • Working with arms extended and bent constantly
    • Frequently moving parts and stock weighing up to 35 pounds, 10 to 50 feet
    • Occasionally moving parts and stock weighing up to 50 pounds; pushing and pulling
    • occasionally
    • Frequently moving merchandise weighing 10 to 25 pounds from floor to counter
    • Occasionally moving and stocking overhead shelves with parts weighing 5 to 15 pounds
    • Constant gross hand and finger dexterity; frequently grasping and manipulating
    • Constant hand and eye coordination
