Selectek has an immediate opportunity for an Assistant Construction Project Manager position in Johns Creek, GA. In this role, potential leadership opportunities will arise as the firm grows. You will operate as an in-house Assistant Construction Project Manager acting as a General Contractor representative and will assist the Project Managers in the field with much of the front-end work on the project. This is a hybrid work-from-home position.
Responsibilities:
Conceptual Estimating
Detailed quantity estimating and take offs.
Subcontractor bidding and buy-out, and contract negotiation and preparation.
Construction start-up and close outs
Job cost tracking and projections
Shop drawing and submittal review and approvals
Field project manager and superintendent coordination, scheduling, and communication
Coordination and communication with internal design build members. Including account managers, interior designers, architects and outside engineers
Handling and coordination of RFIs
Preparation and coordination of change orders (subcontractor and client)
Client meetings, communication, and presentations
Construction scheduling
Punch lists and project completion follow-up
Occasional site visits in southeastern United States
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Building Construction, Construction Science, or Construction Management
5+ years of similar commercial construction project experience
Strong Communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project)
Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay and Wages: $70,000 - $85,000 annual salary depending on education and experience
