We're currently seeking a Control System Hardware Design Engineer for our Equipment, Process Information, and Controls (PIC) division in Des Plaines, IL. In this role, you'll take ownership of electrical control plan designs across all PIC products and associated control platforms. You will lead prioritization of work packages, design goals and objectives, and drive performance.

    Key Responsibilities
    · Create New Control System Electrical Designs
    · Maintain Electrical Design Libraries
    · Establish Design Outsource Model
    · Manage Outsource Interface
    · Own All Designs
    · Maintain International Code Knowledge
    · Provide Office Service Staff Assistance
    · Provide Sales Support Assistance
    · Determine control system as well as work process improvements
    · Address Project Barriers

    YOU MUST HAVE
    · Bachelors Degree Electrical Engineering
    · 5+ years experience in the Controls Engineering field
    · 1+ years detailed electrical experience, Rockwell Allen-Bradley, Siemens S7, and Modicon PLC hardware
    · 3+ years of experience in PLC network architecture
    · 1+ Intrinsic Safety Barrier knowledge and Hazardous environment
    · 2+ years of experience working with AutoCAD
