Job Description
Scope of Position:
The Center for Wellness and Prevention Department houses various multidisciplinary programs and services that focus on primary and secondary prevention and rehabilitation, including:
- Inpatient Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation at Ross/UH/James
- Outpatient Pulmonary Rehabilitation at Martha Morehouse, West Region (Ross)
- Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation at Outpatient Care Upper Arlington, West Region (Ross)
- Outpatient Cardiopulmonary Rehab at Outpatient Care East, East Region (East Hospital)
Position Summary:
This position will provide respiratory therapy diagnostic/assessment or therapeutic respiratory therapy procedures for patients in the cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation program.
Assesses the need for, and provides diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care procedures for customers in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.

This position assists in the clinical, technical, clerical and educational operations for The Cardiopulmonary Rehab Department at the Medical
Center. This position would provide exceptional patient care in a group exercise and education setting for patients with lung and cardiac disease and
surgical interventions such as lung volume reduction surgery, LVAD and lung/heart transplantation.
Minimum Education Required
2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in respiratory therapy
Additional Education Desired
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in respiratory therapy
Required Qualifications
Graduate of a 2 or 4 year school of Respiratory Therapy approved by the Ohio Respiratory Care Board.
