    Job Description Summary:


    We are seeking a dynamic Clean Sugar Logistics Coordinator to manage the end-to-end shipment logistics and supply chain planning for Green Plains' innovative and disruptive Clean Sugar Technology.

    This role will be crucial in ensuring seamless and food grade compliant transportation processes. The ideal candidate will be adept at data management, negotiation, and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to :


    Coordinate outbound shipments of Clean Sugar from origin to destination, ensuring adherence to temperature, quality controls, and personnel and food safety regulations.

    Establish and maintain an efficient supply chain, including inventory management, tracking, and third-party terminal and vendor oversight.

    Collaborate with logistics providers and customers to optimize transportation routes, reduce costs, and streamline supply chain operations for timely execution.

    Source rates for truck and rail lanes, and conduct in-depth rate analysis for logistical services.
    Monitor all operations closely to ensure the execution of receivables and deliveries align with contractual obligations.
    Participate in inspection and qualification audits of transload stations and trailer wash stations.
    Resolve logistical issues promptly, working with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and prevent future occurrences.
    Maintain meticulous documentation of all logistical details related to day-to-day operations.

    Cultivate strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and supply chain providers to foster growth opportunities and ensure continued adherence to food grade compliance standards.

    Develop, communicate, and coordinate supply and demand plan including maintaining target inventory levels across the network
    Be the liaison across functions including sales, operations, customer service, and quality to ensure high service-level standards are met with customers

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    Previous experience in Corn Syrup or Sweetener logistics preferred.
    Demonstrated experience in logistics coordination, freight handling, and customer service.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    Proficiency in using CTRM systems, TMS, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
    Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
    Thorough understanding of transportation regulations and compliance.
    Flexibility to work outside regular hours to support operational needs.
    Exceptional teamwork and collaboration abilities.

    Work Environment/Physical Demands:

    Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including prolonged sitting, frequent computer use, and extensive telephone communication.
    Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
    Willingness to work after hours, on weekends, and on call as required.
