Description
You will conduct evaluations and assessments for new patients in our partner facilities.The successful candidate will play a critical role in assessing and treating psychiatric disorders, developing care plans, and communicating effectively with nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient, including progress notes, treatment plans, and diagnosis codes.Provide clinical oversight and review of medical documentation created by PMHNPs servicing the Idaho practice.
Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including therapists, psychologists, and social workers to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Attend training and continuing education programs to stay current on best practices and new research in psychiatry.
Completion of a residency training program in psychiatry and two years of post-residency experience as a psychiatrist in a psychiatric facility required.
O. degree from an accredited medical school.Knowledge of general medicine and psychiatry; current developments in the field of psychiatry; hospital and clinic organization, management, and procedures.
