OPERATIVE JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Continuous Improvement Assistant
DEPARTMENT: 799
JOB FUNCTION:
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives by maintaining cleanliness in designated areas throughout the facility.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sweep, dust, mop and clean flooring, walls, equipment, etc. in designated area(s) daily to ensure sustainability of continuous improvement efforts. Will be required to use ladders, man-lift, forklift and simple hand tools to perform daily functions. Will be periodically required to touch up floors, walls, equip., etc. with paint.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE:
Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
INITIATIVE AND INGENUITY:
Must be able to think proactively without direct supervision and be energetic and determined to accomplish daily duties.
EFFORT:
Will require meticulous effort to ensure areas are sustained.
RESPONSIBILITY:
Complete daily assignments as instructed. No supervisory responsibility required. Must be able to flex schedule (overtime, after-hours, weekends) as needed.
JOB CONDITIONS:
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
Oftentimes work will be required in areas that will be dirty and hot/uncomfortable.
