Job summary
As a member of the Patient Care Centered Team provides clerical communication reception supply management and other supportive services for the Patient Care to ensure high quality services to patients family members and other hospital staff.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining patients' medical record accurate identification organization of medical records chart when patient is transferred updates daily reviews each shift copies as needed deletes long-term patients scanning Patient Advance Directives EPIC
- Prepares medical record at discharge collating discharged patient records Medical Records and Care Center assembles standard format efficiently attaches loose reports proper record completes specific tasks assigned Nurse Manager Supervisor Sr IA receptionist acts screen rout telephone calls answers assists patients families public nurse/patient intercom system relays information responsible person contacts directed faxes medical information physicians Insurance carriers maintains adequate level supplies obtains returns equipment department neat orderly environment bulletin boards current notices filing daily assignment sheet by shift receives opens distributes center mail receives opens distributes materials faxed center ordering Unit Supplies PeopleSoft support unit functions maintaining bulletin boards reporting maintenance issues Facilities Maintenance Work Order System TIS Service Now Self Self-Service checking computer equipment assure working properly maintaining nursing stations food beverages hydration stations preceptor new IAs assigned Sr IA Operations Manager clinical engineering work orders daily check Voalte Phones unit specific responsibilities assigned Sr IA Operations Manager
