    POSITION SUMMARY

    The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. All employees are required to practice the customer courtesy skills of See.Say.Smile and Play More Be Happy, to ensure our guests are afforded a remarkable experience. To ensure the excellent serving of patrons in a timely manner and to assure quality guest service and a favorable gaming experience while controlling levels of intoxication.

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Ensure at all times operating principles are being adhered to:
    2. Clean - Keep all areas clean and pristine.
    3. Safe - Follow all safety policies and procedures.
    4. Friendly - Use customer courtesy skills of See.Say.Smile to provide superior guest service.
    5. Fun - Have fun Be interactive with all internal and external guests while maintaining professional standards.
    6. Interact with all guests and employees to positively affect the guest/employee experience. Demonstrate resiliency dealing with difficult guests in all types of business conditions. Work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
    7. Responsible to take orders from patrons, ring in orders, prepare drinks correctly and return these orders in a timely manner.
    8. Responsible for following all cashiering policy and procedures particularly with accuracy and safeguarding of funds, i.e. cash, comps, credit cards, etc.
    9. Responsible for developing and maintaining positive guest relations, including but not limited to, resolving minor guest disputes and ensuring the safety and security of all guests and employees.
    10. Responsible for, but not limited to, the following: stock bar items, fill ice bins, replace bottles on Berg System, replenish juice used at bars, empty garbage, mop floors, keep all areas including bar mats and coolers, clean and orderly.
    11. Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
    12. Ensures the proper service of alcohol by following the current laws of the state and the policies of the company.
    13. Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers.
    14. Completes all company-required training within designated time frames.
    15. Performs other duties as assigned
    WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    • Ability to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, hand-held radios/headsets, bar equipment, Micros, cash register and Berg System
    • Ability to complete related paperwork with minimal errors
    • Knowledge of Gaming laws and regulations
    • Knowledge of all special events and promotional activities
    • Good communication skills
    • Ability to accurately perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures and an interruptive environment
    • Ability to read, write and understand simple instructions.
    • Able to handle situations that may arise due to intoxication.
    • Ability to communicate with all departments and fellow employees.
    • Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.
    • Must possess the ability to move effectively and efficiently throughout the casino floor. Including walking, standing, bending and lifting up to 40 lbs.
    • Ability to work in a brightly lit, smoked filled casino environment with above average noise levels.
    • Available to work scheduled work days, 7 days a week, varied work schedules and holidays.
    JOB QUALIFICATIONS
    • A high school diploma, GED equivalent or equivalent work experience.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide with/or without the aid of a calculating device.
    • Six months experience in cocktail service, bartending or bar back.
    • Always maintain a pleasant, friendly and welcoming attitude.
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain Valid Missouri Gaming license
    • Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification
    • Must complete all required company training
