Job summary
The Admission Specialist will be responsible for all aspects of registration to assist in providing access services within the facility. Knowledge of all tasks performed in the various Patient Access Service areas is necessary to provide optimum internal and external customer satisfaction and provide the opportunity for accurate reimbursement.Responsibilities
- Registration information for patient visit
- Patient demographic and third-party information with a high degree of accuracy
- Maintenance knowledge JCAHO, Patient Rights and Responsibilities, HIPAA, HMOs, PPOs,
Ccommercial Payers Medicaid departmental & system policies procedures
