Are you ready to make an IMPACT from day one? Nestled just outside the Great Smoky Mountains, around 30 miles North of Knoxville, in a small, quaint, beautiful town, called Andersonville, sits Norris Academy, a residential treatment facility that offers comprehensive, holistic services to youth with autism spectrum disorders, and/or other neurodevelopmental diagnosis.
Compensation Range:
$21-$25 an hour.

What you will do:
A day in the life of the Admissions and Transitions Coordinator with Rite of Passage, you serve as the vital link between referring agencies, families, and program sites—guiding youth and their support systems through every step of the admissions and transition process.
Develop and coordinate new marketing opportunities within state and county sectorsBuild and maintain relationships with probation, social services, courts, and other placing officials
Ensure consistent communication regarding program information and student placements
Screen referrals, conduct interviews, and recommend placement decisions
Coordinate admissions paperwork, travel arrangements, and database entry
Facilitate parent/guardian orientations and assess family reunification plans
Prepare timely reports, documentation, and referral activity updates
Support compliance with agency licensing standards and organizational policies
Assist with quality improvement initiatives and corrective action proposals
Coordinate site special events and represent the program at conferences
Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development
Ensure safety, health, and welfare of students and staff at all times
Serve as a positive role model and mentor to staff and students
Maintain professionalism in a structured, high-accountability environment
Remain adaptable to schedule changes, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime
Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Be at least 21 years of age
High-school diploma or equivalent. Some college is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years experience in an administrative position
Be able to pass a background screening, drug test, and physical
Experience with juvenile placement agencies
Clean driving record
