    Bar Harbor Bank & Trust is seeking a full-time Floating Customer Service Representative to join our Claremont, New Hampshire branch team. This role requires working 40 hours per week and may involve covering other locations as needed.

    About the Role

    The Customer Service Representative will be the first point of contact for our customers, playing a critical role in Bar Harbor Bank & Trust's success. They will support customers with their day-to-day financial needs, build trusted relationships, and make referrals for additional products and services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist customers in identifying their financial needs and recommend relevant products and services.
    • Recognize opportunities to make referrals for loans, trusts, investments, insurance, and other exceptional services offered by the bank.
    • Gain an understanding of the banking industry and contribute towards meeting branch goals in various categories, including deposits and loans.
    • Build trusting relationships with individuals in the communities we serve.
    • Process transactions for customers in a prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, resolve inquiries effectively, and follow through with customers.

    Requirements

    This role requires general banking knowledge and mastery of routine transactions, including account opening. Essential skills include experience in customer service and a working knowledge of Windows.
