Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a talented Kubernetes Engineer to join a large online university. This is a 100% remote, contract-to-hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of engineering experience working with Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and Java programming.

The individual will be expected to use technologies such as containers and Kubernetes to develop a secure and reliable application platform and deliver production-ready infrastructure.

Skills and Requirements

• 57+ years of professional IT engineering experience.
• Experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (Amazon EKS)
• Experience configuring, managing and troubleshooting Kubernetes.
• Backend programming experience using Java (preferred), Python, and/or Golang for the creation of CI/CD pipelines.
• Team player personality with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
• Proficiency in DevOps and Agile principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• AWS certifications. null
