Job Summary
The Emergency Department Technician provides direct and indirect patient care in support of nursing and provider staff in the Emergency Department.Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac rhythms, collecting specimens, assisting with procedures, and performing clerical duties as needed. Maintains a safe clean and organized care environment while adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Provides direct patient care including vital signs monitoring ambulation basic hygiene care under the supervision of the RN or provider
- Maintains patient confidentiality complies with HIPAA regulations
