    The successful HR Business Partner will be the first point of contact for employee relations, training, and leadership development. You will partner with HR Operations and Legal teams. You will advise, coach, and partner with business leaders and regional customer groups in the development and implementation of effective, best-in-class, full-cycle Human Resources solutions and mobilize resources to deliver desired results. This role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional/strategic excellence and process improvement.

    This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

    Duties

    • Employee Relations Management: Handling employee relations matters, conducting investigations when necessary, and providing guidance to managers on disciplinary actions.
    • Legal Compliance: Addressing legal concerns and maintaining accurate documentation of incidents, complaints, and investigations. Collaborating with legal counsel when needed.
    • Training and Development: Designing and facilitating training sessions for managers on various HR topics such as communication, employee retention, leadership, and team dynamics. Providing coaching on performance appraisal processes.
    • Collaboration: Working closely with HR Operations and management teams on employment matters throughout the employee lifecycle.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in a related field.
    • Five (5) years of experience as a Human Resources Business Partner, generalist, and/or specialist. Ideally, this experience has been gained within a large organization, showcasing your ability to navigate complex HR landscapes.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Masters degree in a related field.
    • PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP.
    • Knowledge of California employment law.

    Knowledge and Skills

    • Well-versed in employment law, national and local.
    • Expertise in coaching, employee relations, group facilitation and talent management.
