    Special Education Teacher (SPED) Full-Time Opening:Current School Year

    Are you a licensed Special Education Teacher (SPED) looking for a new opportunity? Do you have a passion for working with students with diverse learning needs and providing high-quality instruction and support? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for a Part-Time position for the school year

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
    • Adapt curriculum and instructional materials to meet the unique needs and abilities of each student.
    • Provide direct instruction to students in academic subjects, social skills, and daily living skills.
    • Assess students' progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
    • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the inclusion and success of students with disabilities in the general education setting.
    • Attend IEP meetings, parent conferences, and other meetings as required.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and services provided.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
    • IL certification or licensure in Special Education.
    • Experience working with ASD is needed.
    • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
