Job summary:
The pharmacy technician specialty for the ED must communicate effectively and utilize appropriate interviewing skills to allow for the complete medication history taking.
Responsibilities:
- The individual reviews the currently documented external prescription history,
- and contact patients' retail pharmacies and utilizes other resources to resolve any medication concerns while maintaining electronic medication databases in both the ED and main pharmacy.
