Position Summary
Neogene Therapeutics is seeking a highly motivated individual in the fields of engineering to join the Summer Internship Program for 29 hours per week We are looking for an individual who seeks day-to-day engineering activities, results-oriented, possess great attitude, demonstrate creativity and innovation, work efficiently, and have a passion to learn.
The CAD Specialist Intern will work with the Facilities & Engineering teams to help create a library of equipment drawings in 2D.
Job assignments are usually for the summer for short periods during breaks from school.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Assist in creating library of drawings of Lab, Process, and Facility equipment using computer-aided drafting.
Assist in revising or changing facility drawings and completing standard calculations with specific instructions and feedback.
Work under the guidance engineers to complete assigned work.
Review work for completeness and accuracy.
Education and Requirements
Must be at least 18 years or older
Must be eligible to work in the United States without work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have completed at least one year of study at an accredited university/college prior to internship commencing.
Must be enrolled in a technical degree with CAD training
Proficiency with MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, & Teams
Detail oriented & Ability to follow directions.
Basic working knowledge with CAD such as AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD software

While performing the duties of this job, the intern is regularly required to:
Sit and talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
Visually focus on a computer monitor for most of the working day.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
