Job summary
This position works under immediate supervision and requires some knowledge of accounting systems and procedures. Performs data entry chartfield coded Request to Purchases into OAKS Processes vouchers in OAKS for EDI payment card capital payments and other assigned vouchers Submits assigned invoices with attached supporting documentation to Ohio Shared Services (OSS) for processing the OAKS voucher Prepares local funds for voucher payments Validates all types of vouchers for management approval Verifies mathematical accuracy quantity of goods purchased and received purchase price applicable discounts freight charges Reconciles discrepancies Verifies appropriation sources Matches invoices to delivery receipts and purchase orders Places invoices in recaps determining total amount of recap and voucher numbers Verifies accuracy of money remitted Forwards invoices to appropriate divisions prior to processing the voucher for approval Obtains all types of receivers through electronic signature approval email signed invoices Examines verifies invoice calculations delivery receipts other supporting documentation Utilizes resources validates all types of invoices retrieves data from OAKS FIN CACTAS or other files ledgers information financial reports Prepares bi-weekly monthly quarterly annual reports accounts maintained Posts updates balances ledgers journals include internal accounts local funds purchase orders encumbrance documents transfers cancellations vouchers payable Posts receipts balances accounts daily weekly basis Reconciles internal accounts Verifies management approval voucher through OAKS or local funds Performs variety related clerical tasks opens sorts mail Composes edits correspondence relative assigned work Maintains files Operates equipment generate typed reports correspondence Answers telephone inquiries Greets customers Responds refers complaints Answers general inquiries established guidelines Completes forms inventory levels activity reports Handles inventory control asset depreciation Attends meetings trainings Assists financial associates directed supervisor Works special projects committees Performs duties assigned
