Environmental Compliance Manager

Summary:

DSJ Global has recently partnered with a global leading aerospace components manufacturer who are seeking an opportunistic Environmental Compliance Manager to their Salt Lake City, Utah site. This individual will lead and manage environmental systems in accordance to local, state, and federal regulations, issue site permits and collaborate with site leadership. Of course, this company wants your Environmental expertise, but they also want to add to their work family. They are all about support, advancement, and acknowledgement

Environmental Compliance Manager Responsibilities:

• Work with waste and hazardous waste in large quantities
• Create and manage accurate reports (Tier II, RCRA, etc.)
• Effectively communicate with adjacent departments, external regulatory agencies, and plant personnel
• Present trainings and conduct necessary meetings
• Conduct internal audits, inspections, and environmental sampling
• Provide and follow up on corrective actions when needed

Environmental Compliance Manager Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related study
• Strong knowledge of working with carbon fiber, resins, and advanced composite materials
• 2-3+ years of experience
• ISO 14001, Title V, SPCC, and hazardous waste knowledgeable
• Certifications are a plus (CHMM, CSP, CIH, EIT, PE, etc.)
