Job SummaryUnder the direct supervision of the manager or designee, the Patient Registration Clerk arranges for the efficient and accurate registration of patients of both scheduled and walk in services.

In the absence of a Cashier, performs cashier related duties.

Core Job ResponsibilitiesUsepre-determined interviewing techniques and scripting when obtaining information from patients and/or patient representativesAssignand changeguarantors accurately, further ensuring patient confidentialityUnderstand, explain, and accurately completerequired facility forms before obtaining and witnessing patient signaturesChecks AccuReg daily and corrects errors Ensure all accounts are corrected prior to final bill dropCollectPoint of Service collections and processtransactions as outlined in the department's POS collection policy.

Perform other duties as required.


Education/Experience RequirementsRequired:
