The Registered Nurse on the Critical Care Unit assumes the accountability and responsibility as a professional nurse for providing total, comprehensive, continuous, and patient-centered care for an assigned group of patients.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Grand View Health opened our new Hospital Pavilion with 52 private rooms designed to accommodate ICU or PCU levels of care include the newest in-room technology that connects patients and family to caregivers and daily care plans.
Job Responsibilities:
The Critical Care Stepdown, in combination with the ICU, is a 26-bed acute care unit specializing in the care of stable but critically ill patients.
Our goal is to provide transition level care to patients who while stable, still require a high degree of support.
QualificationsEducation and Experience:
Diploma in Nursing, requiredLicenses and Certifications:Registered Nurse in PA, requiredBasic Life Support (BLS), required
Advanced Life Support, (ACLS), within 6 months of hire
