About the Role

The Company is in search of a strategic and collaborative leader to serve as the Dean of the College of Fine Arts. The successful candidate will be the chief academic and administrative officer, responsible for guiding long-term strategy, ensuring excellence in teaching, scholarship, and creative work, and overseeing the operations of a diverse collection of programs, centers, and public-facing venues. Candidates for the Dean position should be prepared to lead a college that is home to the School of Art, School of Music, and Department of Theatre and Dance, serving over 1,600 students and supported by a faculty and staff of approximately 185 and 24, respectively. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who can nurture the college's nationally recognized programs and foster an environment where students can develop into thinkers, responsible citizens, and motivated artists.
