Job summary
Valley Presbyterian Hospital is seeking an experienced Monitor Tech to support the departmental healthcare team and patients by monitoring patient cardiac rhythms, notifying the nursing staff of any abnormalities, maintaining accurate records of cardiac activity, and troubleshooting technical issues with monitoring equipment.Responsibilities
- Observing monitors for all patients on the unit, printing strips per policy, and reporting changes to the RN/Charge Nurse immediately.
- Providing general clerical support to the departmental manager, staff, physicians, and patients.
