- Identify, educate, and develop strong consultant-partner relationships
- Assist consultants with the identification and education of good prospective employers
- Mastery of cost containment programs and their application for consultants and prospective employers
- Develop strong relationships with members of the internal underwriting, market development, and marketing teams
- Drive the understanding of large and complex risk management programs
- Create and execute a regional sales plan to support sales goals
- Implement sales techniques focused on the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing
- 5+ years of recent experience in the self-insured/self-funded marketplace with strong Insurance Broker relationships
- 5+ years of recent experience in a new business development role
- Advanced knowledge of the Northern California group health insurance market
- Bachelors degree
- Must live within Northern California | Not open to relocation
