    About the Role – Research and Development Tax Credit Manager
    Requirements


    • \tBachelor's or master's degree in accounting, tax, or other closely related field
    • \tCPA, EA, or JD licensure
    • \t4+ years of tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax department
    • \tExcellent knowledge of IRC Section 41
    • \tExcellent written and verbal communication skills
    Responsibilities


    • \tUnderstand IRC Section 41 and the accompanying Treasury Regulations.
    • \tWork with team to accurately calculate and support the research tax credit.
    • \tManipulate and analyze large volumes of financial data in mathematical models (generally Excel-based) in compliance with rules governing the research tax credit.
    • \tCommunicate with clients, take notes, and translate those discussions into living documents suitable for release to governmental authorities .
    • \tPlan and coordinate the flow of information with clients.
    • \tDevelop and maintain strong client relationships.
    • \tDevelop, motivate, and train staff level team members.
    • \tSimultaneously manage multiple projects and engagements for multiple clients across various industries and locations.
    • \tDraft and review documents supporting the development activities conducted by client personnel.
    • \tTravel to client locations as needed.
