Our client is a fortune 500 financial leader looking for a dedicated and skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our HR Benefit remote team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, engage with software vendors, and contribute to the development of essential APIs and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and Tech Lead to gather user stories and requirements.
Engage with benefits software vendors to discuss and integrate APIs into our SaaS offerings.
Design new APIs to seamlessly connect our InsurTech solutions with platforms such as Workday, ADP, Plansource, and others.
Develop and utilize templates for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines using YAML.
Undertake modest UI development work on internal React tools.
Required Skills:
5 -10 years of experience in Java development.
Proficiency in developing microservices using Spring Boot and Docker.
Experience with AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service).
Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or MQ.
Preferred Skills:
Strong database skills, particularly with PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with React and TypeScript.
