    Description

    A faith-based non-profit organization has partnered with AVAILABILITY Professional Staffing to assist them with their search for an Accounting Clerk. Strong Christ-like attitude and desire to learn and serve are a must.
    Pay Rate: $21-$24/hr.
    Location: Salida, CA
    Requirements of the Accounting Clerk:
    • HS Diploma required, BS degree in accounting, finance or business highly preferred.
    • QuickBooks Online experience highly preferred.
    • Mature Christian with a firm conviction of God's calling to Christian service.
    • Consistent witness for Jesus Christ; maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside the organization.
    • Able to work with limited supervision – a self-starter.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk:
    • Accounts Payable processing and entry including support payments to staff in field areas. Match field payments with budget documents. Obtain approvals and process payments for signature.
    • Primary responsibility for all necessary correspondence and contact with field staff to maintain up-to-date information regarding payments and establishing a professional working relationship with all staff.
    • Ability to perform reconciliations (bank, account, fund, etc.).
    • Assist with budget and audit preparation, as needed.
    • Train volunteers, as needed.
    • File, print, and maintain reports.
    • Learn to use appropriate office equipment and software.
    • Distribute month-end reports to self-raised staff members.
    • Other duties as assigned.
