Job summary
The Monitor Technician (MT) is responsible for providing continuous ECG monitoring to inpatient telemetry patients. The MT maintains close communication with nursing care units in regards to patient monitoring and arrhythmia notification. The MT follows emergency procedures for critically acute code situations.We are a strong multidisciplinary team that values the voice of nursing and gives an opportunity to advocate for the patient and provide exceptional patient care.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
