    About the Role

    The US Regulatory Coordination Analyst is responsible for oversight of all regulatory requests related to suspicious activity. The Analyst should be able to maintain insight into the regulatory environments in each jurisdiction where BetMGM operates and stay up to date in the latest state published requirements of relevant state laws, regulations, directives from state regulatory agencies, and the obligations of the online and land-based sportsbook in a particular state. The Analyst will ensure BetMGM's compliance through the monitoring and reporting of any regulatorily required information. The Analyst, working under the direction and supervision of the Senior Manager, Suspicious Activity & Fraud, will have specific responsibilities in the areas of reporting regulatory compliance for our online sportsbook and retail sportsbook products, including direct contact with various state regulators and Law Enforcement Agencies.

    Responsibilities
    • Track and monitor all incoming requests from regulators, law enforcement or other stakeholders within BetMGM to respond in a timely and effective manner to all requests for information related to suspicious activity;
    • Assist in the development of metrics to ensure that responses to regulators are consistent, thorough and timely
    • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, including the Risk and Legal Departments, throughout BetMGM to gather the requested data;
    • Review, edit, enhance all responses to regulatory requests for information prior to submission to regulatory bodies;
    • Conduct research to prepare clear, concise and complete reports, correspondence and other communications materials on complex regulatory topics;
    • Maintain a deep understanding of suspicious activity and fraud, as well as BetMGM's policies and procedures for identifying and preventing both, in order to understand the data gathered and communicate it effectively to the regulator;
    • Maintain business as usual functions in existing jurisdictions and ensure updates are made in adherence to rule changes, regulatory directives and operational enhancements for suspicious activity and fraud reporting;
    • Provide oversight and guidance in the drafting of Internal Controls as they relate to suspicious activity reporting ahead of new state launches while maintaining regulatory compliance of existing jurisdictions;
    • Work with the various regulatory bodies to address incidents of non-compliance by the Company should they occur and help to create and implement remedial plans in the event of such occurrence;
    • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Senior Manager, Suspicious Activity & Fraud
    Essential Functions
    • Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • Compliance and/or Anti-Money Laundering certification, preferred. (CAMS, CFE)
    • Online or Land based Casino experience is preferred
    • Experience in a gaming or regulatory function at a government agency is applicable
    • Experience working in an analytical role, utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and interpretation
    • Experience utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint to present findings to multi-disciplinary groups
    • Understand the stated BetMGM business priorities and help the team work toward them
    • Ability to work independently, with a high-level of personal initiative and motivation
    • Experience in process improvement and procedure writing, to include flow charts utilizing Microsoft Visio

    Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.

    Pay Range: $66,560 - $87,360 per year
