    Physical Therapist - Clinical Director Safford - FT/PT/PRN

    NaphCare is hiring an experienced Physical Therapist like you at the Safford Correctional Facility in Safford, Arizona.
    Full Time Shifts, Part Time, PRN, and 8-13 week temporary contracts are available

    Pay rates range from $53.00-$65.00 per hour based on employment status, shift, specific facility, site needs, licensure, and experience.

    PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and will be determined by site leadership and prn employee availability.

    NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. This service streamlines continuing education for all NaphCare Employees to meet state specific requirements for maintaining licensing.

    Position Description:

    May manage one or more physical therapy assistants or technicians.


    • Restores or works to maintain patient's current level of independence and physical functionality.
    • Alleviates pain and prevents disability or impact of disease by planning and administering medically prescribed interventions.
    • No billing or insurance requirements - because patient care is done in-house, there is no need to remember ICD codes, 15-minute rules, differences in insurance reimbursement, etc.
    • Autonomy with patient care and scheduling- see patients for length of time and the number of visits needed based on your clinical judgement.
    • Autonomy with scheduling - if a patient needs to be seen 1x/month or 2x/week, or if a patient needs to be seen for 15 minutes or 1 hour, you have the freedom to decide what is best for your patients.
    • Be the clinical expert - if you feel a patient needs additional imaging or additional specialist referral, work with the onsite provider team to advocate for best outcomes.
    Position Requirements:


    • Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
    • Must have a clear/active Physical Therapy license in state of employment.
    • Current CPR certification and current tuberculosis documentation.
    • Corrections, forensic or criminal justice experience preferred.
    • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
