    PRIMARY FUNCTION: As the Project Manager at BOWA Construction, you will helm the seamless execution of projects, surpassing client expectations at every turn. From conceptualization to final delivery, you will orchestrate and oversee all construction activities with meticulous attention to detail. Collaborating closely with our team members, your mission is to ensure the flawless completion of projects, fostering satisfaction for both our clients and BOWA.     RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Read and understand the Owner/Bowa contract and the scope of services to be provided on the project.
    • Establish and manage the submittal and RFI processing procedures with the Owner and A/E.
    • Establish flow chart procedures for COs, RFIs, Submittals, etc. if required.
    • Participate in constructability reviews.
    • Organize, lead, and manage client implementations through requirements design and system build, testing, and client sign-off.
    • Work with the IS Group to provide computer hardware and software for the project that will meet the Project Teams (Bowa, Owner and A/E) needs.
    • Identify and proactively prepare, plan, and manage any critical success factors, contingencies, and potential roadblocks.
    • Manage the project using established project controls and procedures.
    • Prepare monthly reports including cost, schedule, safety, cash flow, etc. for internal and/or external use.
    • Coordinate project controls with the Owner and design team
    • Ability to communicate and read trade contracts, owner, lump sum, and CM contracts.
    • Understanding of the bid processes under various project delivery models
    • Provide jobsite leadership in safety and quality.
    • Set up quality inspection to record number and types of quality inspections performed on the project.
    • Prepare bid package bid comparison breakdowns.
    • Prepare budget estimates and change estimates.
    • Prepare charts, graphs, and field drawings as required for scheduling and construction purposes to document proposed sequence and actual performance of work.
    • Review contract drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
    • Review shop drawings and samples for compliance with contract documents. Assemble and organize Contract Close-out Process.
    • Establish procedure with the owner for addressing warranty issues.
    • Review of all contract documents for completeness and constructability and for the review of all scopes of work to assure that all labor, material, and equipment necessary for the project have been purchased and are in accordance with the contract documents.
    • Timely review and submission of all samples, brochures, and shop drawings and for coordinating and expediting the flow of information, plans and specifications to the Architect/Engineer, field construction forces, subcontractors, and material suppliers.
    • Expand contractual services and project profit.
    • Take proactive steps to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Formulate a project purchasing plan and ensure the integrity of the buyout process.
    • Produce trend reports, formulate & implement corrective measures.
    • Provide oversight for the change management process and cost reporting function.
    • Maintain working knowledge of CPM scheduling techniques and the computer programs used to generate schedules.
    • Utilize project management tools and systems to effectively meet goals.
    • Facilitate meetings with clients and internal team members, managing expectations and conservatively communicating delivery dates.
    • Proactively track and drive prioritized open issues to completion, making sure that teams are meeting deadlines.
    • Ensure post implementation support is facilitated where appropriate.
    • Other duties and responsibilities as required.

    SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field. (In lieu of degree, a minimum of 10 years of work experience in Project Management, Engineering, or as a Superintendent).
    • 7-10 years of Construction Project Management experience.
    • Analytical, curious, problem-solver.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience working in a team environment and being able to respond to rapidly changing priorities.
    • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
    • Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawings, and specifications, building materials and required standards applicable to discipline.
    • Ability to assume responsibility and interface well with Project Team. Exemplify exceptional customer service and leadership.
    • Knowledge of Construction Management and familiarity with Procore or other similar project management programs.
