Safety Manager
at our
North Kansas City office Our ideal Safety Officer candidates will be self-starters, problem-solvers, and possess the ability to work well with all levels of personnel on a job site.
Job Responsibilities:
Ability to identify known potential exposures and recommend corrective actions.
Identify, eliminate, and control hazardous conditions on a project that may lead to injury and/or property damage using job specific safety standards and best management practices.
Conduct risk assessment and job site analysis to enforce preventative measures.Record and investigate incidents to determine causes.
Control PPE inventory and distribute all necessary PPE for each job site.
Provide, update, and maintain all site safety plans.
Ability to handle and eliminate conflict on job sites.
Participate in pre-job planning and start-up, Site-Specific Emergency Action Plans (EAP), etc.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Valid state driver's license
Reliable transportation
Ability to pass a drug screen and back mobility assessment
Current CPR/First Aid holder
OSHA 30-hour construction certification is required
Minimum 7 years of proven safety manager experience
BS/BA in safety management, engineering or relevant field is preferred
