    Position Summary:
    Project Manager I, is responsible for taking a project from start to finish establishing goals and monitoring success. Collaborate with internal customers in the identification of problem areas and opportunities, idea management and evaluation. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required.


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    Create detailed project plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
    Manage project issues and risks and escalates to the appropriate stakeholders with clarity, timeliness, and professionalism.
    Establish and maintain strong relationships across the organization for project execution and delivery.
    Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
    Be able to document and translate requirements while making connections to business processes, potential risk, and solution objective.
    Understand project management including, Agile methodology, utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
    Use negotiation skills, influence, and creativity to achieve successful outcomes around scope, schedule, issues/risks, and resources.
    Measure project performance using internal tracking and management systems.
    Manage vendor relationships and/or resources as needed.
    Perform other duties as assigned.


    Experience & Education:


    The successful candidate will possess project experience and skills, leadership and analytical and critical thinking skills, and attention to detail.


    Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess the following:
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Management Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience.

    • 5 years of project management experience in a professional environment supporting multifunction project team's product owners, software engineers.
    Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
    Experience managing software development implementation methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
    Intermediate proficiency with PPM tools such as MS Project, Portfolio for Jira, Clarizen.
    CAPM , PMI-ACP certification or similar certification strongly preferred.


    Skills & Abilities Required:
    Familiarity with leading project idealization to completion.
    Experience supporting project team members including product owners.
    Verbal and written communication skills and ability to flex communication style with technical and non-technical users.
    Prioritization and time management skills, self-motivated and reliable, drive to hit performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
    Ability to work with minimal supervision.
    Ability to work with and influence personnel.
    Collaborative skills with an ability to effectively communicate with both technical teams and non-technical business users/leaders.
    Team player and a consensus builder.
    Ability to sift through details quickly and determine what's important.
    Passion for and a desire to delight the customer.
    Creative problem solving, organization, attention to detail, flexibility and adaptability is crucial to the success of this role.
