Nursing Station Technician at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina MN assisting professional nurse/caregiver in patient care and transporting patients equipment and supplies.Responsibilities
The Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting the professional nurse/caregiver in the delivery of patient care including personal grooming bathing toileting feeding skin care needs oral hygiene specimen collection/testing position/ambulating changing linens and promptly answering call lights. Assists the nurse in monitoring patient condition by accurately taking and recording weights input/output blood pressure temperature pulse rates respiration oxygen saturation placing patient on/off monitors or equipment reporting unusual findings to the RN in a timely manner assists with admissions transfers and discharge of patients orients patient and their family to the environment assures the patients belongings are accounted for documented upon admission transfer and discharge transports patients equipment specimen and supplies cleans sets up and maintains rooms and equipment orders stocks supplies accurately documents tasks performed on appropriate form performs other tasks as needed.Job description
