    Overview
    The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for supporting the long-term talent acquisition strategy and the programs supporting that strategy.

    Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition Programs, this role supports programs that aim to build a robust pipeline of talent to support the company's ongoing recruiting needs and those programs that provide contingent labor support.

    These programs include Travelers, International Nursing, EIP/Tuition Forgiveness, Externships, Bonus Programs, Campus/Community, and more.

    As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will oversee the candidate activity for the various contingent labor programs that support our business needs.

    You will work with vendor partners to ensure a quick and seamless process to onboard and offboard contingent labor, including travelers, international nurses, and our EIP programs.

    You will also work with hiring managers to facilitate the contingent labor screening and onboarding process.

    This position is essential in managing key pipelines and programs to achieve UHS's goals and establishing UHS as the leading employer in New York's Southern Tier.

    With a minimum of 4 days a week on site to start, the position has the potential to develop into a more hybrid nature.

    This will vary based on the current needs of the department and organization, dependent on active programs and planned initiatives.

    Qualifications
    Education
    Associates Degree in Human Resources or similar discipline or 2 years of related experience in lieu of degree
    Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or similar discipline, preferred
    Experience
    1 year Human Resources experience
