Description
Job ResponsibilitiesProducing life cycle development and engineering from conceptualization to design, prototype and testing of machine tool and automation for assembly for Powertrain Components, Conveyance, or BIW following OSHA safety standards
Engineering through the use of AutoCAD, Inventor, Naviswork, Enterprise PDM, NX 9 (Unigraphics), StruCalc and TeamCenter
Designing sheet metal components and welded construction frames
Material selection and design for manufacturing of a high-performance engine build cart with FMEA and DFMEA for the same
Developing cost effective, standardized engineering designs that meet quality standards, budget limitations, and customers specifications and requirements
Support the project team with providing engineering guidance and ensuring that project plans are implemented accurately and meet customers specifications
Design for Structures, Machine Frames and Adaptors for automatic and semi-automatic lines for filling all process fluids in cars or trucks

Job Qualifications
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, Engineering Science, or a related engineering field, or foreign equivalent education
2 years experience working in the automotive industry in the position of Mechanical Engineer, Design Manufacturing Engineer, or other Engineering positions
2 years experience is required in each of the following: Machine tool and automation engineering for Powertrain Components, or Conveyance, or BIW AND Using AutoCAD, Inventor, and Naviswork and Utilizing OSHA safety requirements in product design and engineering testing and validation
