    Position: Principal Reliability Engineer at Raytheon

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a Principal Reliability Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL, McKinney, TX, or Tucson, AZ. As a Principal Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring optimal design in terms of Performance, Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability.

    What You Will Do:

    As a Principal Reliability Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

    • Conducting Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analyses, including Sneak Circuit Analyses
    • Requirement Development/Assessments
    • Reliability Allocation, Predictions, Assessments
    • Performing Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analyses (FMECA)
    • Interpreting data and analyzing results
    • Supporting Failure Review Boards (FRB)
    • Supporting the proposal process in developing Basis of Estimate (BOE) for reliability work
    • Program-related work including participating in proposal writing and bid submissions
    • Mentoring junior engineers
    • Obtaining and maintaining Special Access Program clearance

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM). Electrical Engineering degree preferred
    • Minimum 8 years of relevant Engineering experience
    • Experience with Reliability Engineering and leadership experience

    Qualifications We Prefer:

    • Knowledge of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMECA)
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze technical information
    • Functional knowledge of statistics or using statistical packages for data analysis (e.g. Excel)
    • Self-motivated with problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments
    • Active DoD Secret Clearance

    About the Position:

    This position is an ONSITE role based in Huntsville, AL, Tucson, AZ, or McKinney, TX depending on applicant preference. It requires the ability to obtain a security clearance.
