Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• Float to all patient care areas including emergency department and general care units
• May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations with advance notice
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility

Required certifications:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NBRC RRT (or CRT with RRT obtained within one year), Advanced NRP preferred

• Active Wisconsin license required (AHA or ARC certifications only)
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Minimum 3+ years experience with pediatric experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Work with V60 BIPAP, Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators, ISTAT equipment
• Document in EPIC system
• Provide basic respiratory care, critical care, ventilator management, patient assessment with assess and treat protocols
• Care for all age groups and provide emergency services for rapid response and code blue situations

Dress code:
closed-toe shoes, scrubs (any color), clean appearance, no smoking or scent, piercings per policy

• During flu season, unvaccinated staff must wear masks at all times
• Contract includes 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• May be placed on call for low census with 2-hour minimum callback pay
