    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Manager, Accounting to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in our global accounting operations, ensuring compliance with established accounting principles and procedures while delivering accurate and timely financial insights. As a key member of our cross-functional, multinational team, you will contribute to various aspects of our accounting processes, including revenue analysis, reporting, contract assessment, process enhancement, and stakeholder education.

    Responsibilities:

    • Apply generally accepted accounting principles to analyze financial data and ensure adherence to accounting control procedures.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance global revenue processes and other related areas, such as revenue accounting close, reporting, and contract assessment.
    • Support the Head of Finance/Finance Lead in managing partnerships with senior executive teams, enabling areas, and external service providers.
    • Cultivate and manage key finance relationships, offering specialist advice and maintaining Group Policy in critical technical areas to mitigate associated risks.
    • Provide reporting and analysis to support business decision-making and liaise with external parties as necessary.
    • Utilize specialized expertise to fulfill day-to-day operational requirements within the function.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 7+ years of experience in public or corporate accounting.
    • CPA certification is a plus.
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and supervisory skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

    Skills:

    • Highly self-motivated individual with a proactive approach.
    • Proficiency in applying revenue recognition accounting standards.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to report to senior stakeholders.
    • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • MBA/MSA degree.
    • Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry is advantageous.
    • Prior experience in Big 4 auditing, including SOX-related experience is plus.
    • Familiarity with SAP, BlackLine, and Qlik is a plus.
