Job Summary
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) is seeking a Lead Carbon Dioxide Removal Specialist to lead complex technical policy work related to carbon dioxide removal technologies.
This specialist will serve as a subject-matter expert on carbon dioxide removal technologies pathways and policies providing technical leadership across CARBs full scope of work
The role involves communicating CDRs work to external stakeholders coordinating meetings engagement with partners collaborating closely with public agencies research institutions equity stakeholders industry representatives and CARB staff management executive leadership
Responsibilities
- Leads complex technical regulatory policy efforts for CDR.
- Serves as senior expert in carbon doctrine technology innovation development protocol design statewide climate policy implementation.
- Liaises with state federal academia industry partners governments international organizations.
